There are so many tools around the web that promise to make your life easier that it’s often difficult not to get distracted by all the shiny objects out there. This page is a list of tools that I am personally using and that I really enjoy.
I promise not to add something to this page until I’ve used it myself and feel comfortable recommending it. There are plenty tools I’ve reviewed or tested out that I won’t be recommending. Now, on to the good stuff….
Domain Names & Hosting Services:
I prefer using Namecheap for my domains.
WordPress Themes and Widgets:
95% of my websites are using Genesis framework and Child Themes from StudioPress (including this site)
Affiliate Marketing Easy Button:
Skimlinks for affiliate marketing in easy mode with one single affiliate ID for an ever-growing list of products and services.
I’m using Aweber right now, but I’m looking into testing out some other services.
Forums, Brainstorming, and Mastermind Groups
I’ve found that being part of paid forums greatly improves the quality of information and feedback you receive. I’ve tried quite a few groups, but these two are my favorite and they’re both so much more than just a forum.
- Lynn Terry’s Clicknewz Elite Brainstorming Group – includes weekly brainstorming session and great resources
- MyNAMS Niche Affiliate Marketing Forum and Membership – includes weekly training webinars and lots of perks
