Halfway Point June Content Experiments

The month is half over already and I’ve taking a peek at the numbers again today.

June’s Experiment Site A: Traffic and subscribers still increasing daily. In comparison to last month when I didn’t have daily content going up on the site, the traffic is great this month. Lots of Facebook shares (posts are getting anywhere between 30 – 120 Facebook shares each), lots of Pinterest pins and repins, but not many Twitter shares, and zero G+ shares.

June’s Experiment Site B: Traffic is making a slow climb, sign ups are still around the average numbers that I’m used to with this site, but I have noticed an increase in social sharing and more incoming links. Even though these two sites are in the same niche, I’m seeing differences in the social sharing; while Facebook and Pinterest are still the most frequently used, I’m seeing a trickle of Twitter and G+ action here. I might do some Twitter experimenting next month to see if I can increase interactions there, but G+ seems to be of very little interest in this particular niche (and I suspect that is true of many niches)
